Our Story
Founded in 2019, The Futures Project (TFP) is a global initiative committed to changing the way we approach our common futures.
Building on the UN 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we work toward futures where the real needs of people and planet drive social and technological progress.
TFP is a home for change-makers who put empowerment, healthy societies, and the well-being of people and planet at the core of their work. We are more than an innovation incubator. We help interconnect societal problems and their solutions through systemic innovation and technology, and support the innovators who are driving this change.

Dr Julia Stamm founded The Futures Project in 2019.
She is an award-winning social impact, tech for good and sustainability leader, advisor, founder, and entrepreneur.
Julia has 15+ years of experience working across sectors to systemically address societal challenges and had held leadership positions in European and International organisations, such as the European Cooperation in Science and Technology, the European Commission and the G20. She was the founding Director of the Global Solutions Initiative and the inaugural Director of The Data Tank.
Among others, Julia is the recipient of the Digital Female Leader Award and a BMW Foundation Responsible Leader.
