About The Futures Project

Our Vision

Build better futures by fostering systemic innovation that serves the real and future needs of people and planet.

Our Mission

To create shared visions for our collective futures, we build and support a global community of future-oriented changemakers who innovate to achieve systemic change for our societies.

Our Story

Founded in 2019, The Futures Project was established to change the way we approach innovation, technology, and our futures. Too often, the creation of new technology is celebrated as a desirable end in and of itself. Innovation, sustainability, and impact have become mere buzzwords.

TFP aims to bring in the big picture of where we want to go and why – and of our responsibility for future generations.

By applying our systemic approach to create sustainable futures, TFP seeks to interconnect societal problems and their solutions through innovation to bring about meaningful innovation for people and planet.

The Futures Project builds on the UN2030 Agenda and contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
