They provide low-cost machines, training, and support to rural entrepreneurs and communities, enabling them to make Interlocking Compressed Stabilized Earth Bricks (CSEB) using soil, sand, and cement. By using local materials, the cost of transport and construction is reduced by 25%, making the dream of a safe and healthy home genuinely affordable for poor families.
Their innovative micro-enterprise model establishes new enterprises as long-term sustainable economic engines, building safe homes, creating jobs, and reducing CO2 over the long-term. By 2025, Build up Nepal aims to support 600 enterprises to build 25,000 houses, creating 6600 jobs and saving 115,000 tons of CO2-emissions.
